Job Title: Journeyman Plumbing Technician – Service

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumbing Technician to join our team in Markham. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various plumbing systems and components.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems and components
• Replace and upgrade existing plumbing systems and components
• Respond to emergency service calls
• Identify deficiencies and make recommendations to clients
• Complete work orders, deficiency reports, field quotations, estimates, and daily time summaries
• Measure, cut, and connect piping using threading, brazing, and mechanical connection equipment
• Perform scheduled maintenance as assigned
• Perform backflow tests and cross connection surveys

Skills Requirements:

• Backflow preventer certificate
• 5 years of experience in an plumbing position in service, maintenance, replacement, and installation for commercial and industrial sites
• Ability to read and work from mechanical schematics
• Valid G2 or G3 gas license (preferred)
• Valid 'G' Driver's License
• Strong mechanical ability and problem-solving skills
• Good coordination and manual dexterity
• Good physical strength and stamina
• Ability to work well with coworkers and deal with customers
• Valid Plumber (JP) OCOT membership
• Member of Local 46 in good standing
