Side by Side Therapy is currently looking for skilled individuals to fill part-time Board Certified Behaviour Analyst positions in Toronto, Scarborough, Etobicoke, and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

This position is an independent contractor position.


The Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) will be responsible for conducting assessments and supervising the implementation of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) programs for autistic children.

This BCBA will have a proven record of working as a team leader.

The BCBA will be expected to collaborate with an SLP, OT, and other disciplines while providing their expertise in ABA to generate an individualized program for each child.


Responsibilities:


  • Providing assessment in a home setting based.
  • Designing a treatment plan using evidencebased information, relevant best practice guidelines, and clinical expertise.
  • Actively engaging clients, families, caregivers, and therapists to address clientcentered goals.
  • Actively engaging in client/family and therapist coaching.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of the intervention, client's response, and progress towards achieving goals.
  • Providing evidencebased assessment and intervention.

OTHER:


  • Must provide an uptodate Vulnerable Sector Screen and Professional Liability Insurance is required.
  • A driver's license and access to a vehicle for work are necessary.
  • First Aid, CPR, and CPI certification are recommended.

COVID-19 considerations:


  • A screening tool is required by both the client and the therapist before going into the session.
  • Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Good hand washing and sanitizing are a must.
