Garden Valley School Division is currently seeking the services of a Head Custodian at Emerado Centennial School. The incumbent under the direction of the Custodial Supervisor will provide safe, clean and well-maintained facilities and grounds for the students and staff of Emerado Centennial School. This position supervises one Junior Custodian and two Custodial Aides and offers a large variety of work.

Below are Qualifications, Skills & Experience that we are seeking:

High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred.
5th Class power engineering certificate an asset
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good interpersonal skills
Previous supervisory experience would be an asset but is not required.
Building management experience an asset.
Mechanical ability and comprehension an asset
Problem Solving Skills
Access to a vehicle is required.
Ability to relate to the school community and community value base.

Emerado Centennial School is a grades 4 to 8 middle school, located in the southern subdivision of the City of Winkler. Emerado Centennial School has a student population of 400 students, 29 professional staff members, and 25 support staff members.

Salary and Benefits:

The compensation package for this position is in accordance with the GVSD Policy. Class 7 Position - $21.29 to $24.52 per hour.
