- Clean the interiors and exteriors of various vehicles
- Fuel and check all fluid levels as determined by cleaning and fueling procedures
- Clean interior / exterior of bus advertising and back lighting; report any interior lights that are not working; replace interior & exterior advertising signs when instructed to do so
- As part of the vault dumping procedures, must "probe" buses and "dump" vault canisters into vault receiver unit
- Clean the main shop facility area
- May be required to "pre-trip" a bus
- Miscellaneous building cleaning duties, dumping trashcans and washing floors when assigned
- Cleaning engine compartments, undercarriages, wheels, and vehicle parts cleaning
- Sanitization of buses in compliance with Provincial Health regulations
- Must have a Class 5 driver's license or higher
- Ability to understand, speak, and write English in-order-to communicate effectively with the traveling public and to report on incidents involving safety and/or service
- No criminal convictions or pending charges relating directly to the Wash Bay Attendant position
- Previous cleaning or detailing experience considered an asset

Wash Bay Attendant / Bus Cleaner
Location: Hazelton, BC
PWTransit is currently seeking a casual Wash Bay Attendant to join our team in Hazelton. The shift for this position is Sundays, 6 hours per week.
Wage: $22.25 per hour
Duties:
Responsible for the fueling and cleaning of the interiors and exteriors of company equipment.
Qualifications:
Selected applicants will be required to participate in a comprehensive recruitment process which consists of interviews, drug and alcohol screening, criminal record and reference checks.
