Financial Analyst-Temporary Contract ( four months )

SCOPE OF THE POSITION

THE MANDATE:

Analyze production runs to ensure proper consumption of raw materials and packaging with a three part focus on quality, inventory and cost.
Make journal adjustments to properly reflect consumption of materials.
Work with the Warehouse team to request inventory counts as required and adjust consumptions as required.
Complete production runs after audit is finished.
Prepare BWO Analysis Report.
Prepare and issue customer reporting on production runs based on required frequency from customer.
Troubleshoot system errors.
Perform monthly close duties related to Post-Production.
Assist in the analysis of waste and its drivers.
Participate in yearend close activities.
Other duties as assigned.

THE CANDIDATE:

University or college degree in in accounting or finance, preferably management accounting.
Minimum 0 2 years of experience in Finance or related field.
Must have strong Excel skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and analyze data in a fastpaced and results driven environment.
Experience in manufacturing industry or inventory management is a strong asset.
