We are looking for a Benefits Coordinator who will support the Total Rewards team in the administration of benefits and wellbeing programs.


The role:


  • Provides proactive daytoday administrative support for Canada and US benefit processes, programs, and plans, such as medical and dental, life/AD&D and disability insurance, and retirement plans
  • Maintains Benefits system and vendor benefit portals including: tracking employee enrollment activity, enrollment/coverage issue escalation and resolution, and assisting with onboarding and offboarding activities related to benefits
  • Manages COBRA to ensure timely processing of materials
  • Organizes and presents weekly benefits orientations
  • Answers and investigates employee benefit questions
  • Updates and maintains benefits information on company intranet and other communication sites
  • Prepares effective and proactive employee communication materials related to benefits plans and wellness programs and leave of absence administration
  • Participates in the planning and implementation of annual benefits renewal process and wellness programs
  • Helps with preparation and research of data and information for audits and other compliance needs as required; assists in audits and reconciliation of total rewards data
  • Participates in HR Total Rewards projects and initiatives

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in HR.
  • Minimum 1 years Human Resources experience in a fastpaced environment. Experience in Professional services industry and supporting Benefits is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding prioritization and organization skills, with ability to work independently, and use good judgment to deliver highquality results.
  • Computer proficiency and technical competence with strong skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • HRMS experience in Dayforce or Oracle HCM platform preferred.
