Are you passionate about arts, media and design, and interested in contributing to the growth and development of emerging new talent? The Talent Booking Coordinator works closely with students in creative fields, connecting them to exciting freelance opportunities.

Your work will directly impact the success of the Creative Talent Booking Centre and help to promote the artistic community within Humber College, including alumni.


What you will do:


The Talent Booking Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Creative Talent Booking Centre, a hub within the FMCA Work-Integrated Learning Department in the Faculty of Media and Creative Arts.

You will receive and process job requests from internal and external stakeholders, identify suitable students from the talent pool, coordinate job assignments, and manage payment transactions.

You will also maintain the website, talent database and ensure all necessary documentation and contracts are in place for each job.


The Talent Booking Coordinator will also coordinate and provide leadership to a team of specialized Talent Liaisons and work with various departments across the College.


What you bring to the role:

Education:
  • Degree in a related field, such as media studies, arts administration, or business administration.

Experience and Skills

  • 59 years of experience in talent booking, casting, or related roles, preferably in a creative industry.
  • Passion for the arts and a deep appreciation for creativity
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple job requests and assignments simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, students, and talent liaisons.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and contract management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of equity, diversity, and inclusion practices.
  • Proficiency in database management, data entry, marketing, and communication.
  • Experience in talent booking, event coordination, or related roles is a plus.
