In this role, you will execute system changes and support cost reduction and efficiency optimization initiatives for Procurement in collaboration with Operations, Finance and all other related departments.
THE ROLE:
- Act as the lead Administrator for the purchasing system, Coupa;
- Support for Coupa supplier portal users (training/documentation);
- Level 3 technical support for account, purchasing, billing issues;
- Approve new user requests based on internal specifications;
- Handle errors for requisitions, POs, receipts, invoices and expenses;
- Execute system change requests (new roles, new processes);
- Responsible for the implementation life cycle of new functionality;
- Be the expert on all Coupa system configurations and upgrades;
- Assess risk, demonstrate and implement new features;
- Act as an expert in PO/invoice management to implement new vendors;
- Ability to explain the long term benefits and risks of a system decision.
- Participate in internal audit twice a year.
- Ideally 2 years of experience as a procurement systems administrator (Coupa environment, an asset);
- University degree in a relevant field, an asset;
- Excellent understanding of engineering, finance, procurement and HR procedures;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated ability to organize and accomplish multiple objectives;
- Focused on internal customer satisfaction and expectations;
- Must be a team player, motivated and detail oriented;
- Bilingual in English and French;
- No programming knowledge is required for this position. The administrator uses a frontend configuration that is accessible to him/her.
