Ensure compliance with the Childcare and Early Years Act as well as all our Policies, Durham Public Health regulations and DROC.

• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to take initiative and work independently is essential
• Ability to work well with others, be a team player
• Provide a safe, healthy, and caring environment for the children
• Plan playbased curriculum and implement it in the classroom
• Updated Vulnerable Sector Screening Required
• Updated immunization including 2step TB test required
• First Aid and CPR Level C
• Food Handler's Certification

- not required but would be an asset

• Completion of a 2year diploma in Early Childhood Education from a recognized college
• In good standing with the College of ECE (Registered Early Childhood Educator) or in process of registration with the college
• Knowledge of ELECT and How Does Learning Happen?

$18.55-$23.86 per hour
