About the Opportunity:

St. Martha's Internal Medicine Dept.

are looking for a full time Respirologist to join the team at St Martha's Regional Hospital in the coastal community of Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

The Internal Medicine Department subspecialties include General Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Endocrinology, Respirology, and Intensive Care.

St Martha's Regional offers echocardiography, exercise stress testing with nuclear imaging and dobutamine stress testing, pacemaker insertion and follow up, endoscopy (therapeutic gastroscopy and
colonoscopy), PFTs and a Sleep Lab. There is a Cardiac Rehab Clinic managed by a Nurse Practitioner in collaboration with Internal Medicine Physicians. There are 2 full-time Respiratory Therapists on staff in the hospital.

Compensation is fee for service with flexible vacation time. In addition, specialists receive call stipends and other incentives as available through the Master Agreement of Nova Scotia.
