Description
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cityowned public parks.
- Operate heavy machinery such as tractors and backhoes.
- Work outdoors in all kinds of weather or conditions.
- Cut, shape, and place large slabs of rock to make a walkway or garden space.
- Maintain cityowned flower beds in public parks.
- Lift and transport materials such as mulch, soil, stones, and plants onto the landscape using a wheelbarrow or hand truck.
- Clean up lawns, flower beds, and walkways following the completion of landscaping work.
- Organize work crews and assign tasks to workers.
Job Types:
Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2-4 months
Salary:
$21.00-$25.00 per hour
