    Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Key Worker

    Full Time - $27.00 to $29.00 per hour

    Aboriginal Infant and Family Development

    In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families affected by FASD by providing support, education, and guidance.

    You will play a crucial role in providing support to individuals and families affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). FASD is a complex neurodevelopmental disorder that requires specialized knowledge and understanding. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families affected by FASD by providing support, education, and guidance.

    Preferred qualifications include:

    • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
    • Previous experience collaborating with individuals with FASD, or other neurodevelopmental disorders is preferred.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and support families and individuals.
    • Experience working with Indigenous communities and cultural sensitivity in service delivery.
    • Knowledge of FASD, its impact on individuals and families, and evidence-based interventions.
    • Proficiency in using computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite.
    • Ability to undergo a successful criminal record search.
    • Certification in or willing to obtain: First Aid, ASIST, Crisis de-escalation/prevention (CPI), Class 4 Driver's License, Suicide Intervention, Conflict Resolution, Mental Health First Aid.
