Description

Responsibilities:

Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses
Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features
Provide recommendations on lens options, frames, and lens coatings based on customers' needs and preferences
Adjust and repair eyewear as needed
Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
Process orders for eyeglasses and contact lenses
Maintain inventory of eyewear frames and contact lenses
Collaborate with the optometrist to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process

Qualifications:

Previous experience in retail management, laboratory, or optical settings is preferred
Strong sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Knowledge of medical terminology related to optometry and ophthalmology
Familiarity with Epic or other electronic health record systems is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Detailoriented with the ability to multitask effectively
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work independently
