The Role:

New graduates with knowledge of; physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy welcome to apply We love growing new graduates
Surgical preparation, assisting, and patient recovery (training provided)
Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records
Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to problemsolve or the ability to ask clarifying questions to help you find solutions
Passion to learn more within the role, plus we will provide training
A love for all companion animals at every stage of their life.

Qualifications:

Have completed a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program.
Familiar with therapeutic exercises
Able to lift up to 50 lbs, using proper body mechanics

Training provided:

Laser safety training to operate laser safely
Underwater treadmill operation and maintenance training
Training on the safe use of chemicals for underwater treadmill
Training on PPE
Training on working with rehab patients and clients (empathy and support)
Training provided on booking rehab appointments and followup appointments, waitlists, and doctor scheduling
Training on the timely transfer of information with additional team members and doctors; updating and progress reporting
