The Opportunity
As a Data Coordinator, you will work within our Data Solutions research team to compile real estate information and maintain our databases through careful data entry.
You will become familiar with relevant real estate data sources, learn about market trends, and become an expert on the local market.
Our Data Solutions team excels at providing accurate, reliable and detailed market data across Canada.Through our databases, real estate professionals gain the important information that they need to generate reports and make well-informed decisions.
As a Database Coordinator, your efforts will play a direct role in helping our clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in learning about the real estate market, with strong skills in attention to detail, data collection, prioritization and deadline management.
_This role is based in Vancouver with the expectation you will come to the office 5 days a week the first 90 days during the training period.
After the training period it will transition into a hybrid role._What you will be doing:
- Enter the details and maintain the database. Perform large amounts of data entry into the database in an accurate and timely manner, to ensure that our real estate data is well maintained and up to date. (Approximately 85% of the role.)
- Learn the trends. Build your knowledge of the real estate market and learn about key market indicators and trends.
- Ensure accuracy. Review the database to ensure all of the details are accurate and current, and that all fields are completed. You will pursue information to complete files.
- Build relationships. Collaborate with team members to confirm information required and assist others as needed to meet deadlines.
What you will have:
- Genuine interest in the real estate industry with a strong desire to learn.
- Related work experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to enter large amounts of data efficiently, with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to collect, understand, verify and compile relevant information.
- Understanding of strict deadlines and ability to prioritize workload in a fastpaced environment.
- A logical approach to problem solving with the instinct to follow processes and best practices.
- The drive to work autonomously and be a contributor to the team's initiatives. By staying focused, learning the market and pursuing networking opportunities, this is an exciting first or second job for someone considering a career in commercial real estate.
- Technical skills including knowledge of MS Office, primarily Word and Excel.
- Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract is required.
