Orbit is currently seeking Surface Diamond Driller assistant for our projects in the Sudbury Area.
Principal Tasks and Responsibilities
- Install the drill safely with the driller;
- Perform the maintenance of work tools and work surface;
- See to the supply of equipment to be used;
- Insure proper placement of core samples in boxes;
- Manipulate the core sample tubes (place and retrieve);
- Monitor all levels regarding to the drill set up;
- Assist in the displacement of the drill;
- Assist and support the driller for the proper progress of the drilling activities;
- Perform all other tasks necessary for the proper progress of the drilling operations
Profile and Requirements
- willing to train;
- Hold a Surface diamond drilling helper common core certificate;
- Hold a valid Standard First Aid and CPR card;
- Hold a valid driver's license;
- Clean Criminal Record;
- Good physical capacity and endurance;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Comfortable and motivated in a productivity environment.
