All this has major challenges, we process enormous amounts of data in very short time frames, performing billions of calculations per customer and storing it all in Enterprise scale databases.

You will work collaboratively with other engineers, from associates to principals, applying your technical and problem-solving capabilities to scale our data platform.

You'll work as a technical leader senior voice within the data engineering team to uphold and evolve common standards and best practices, collaborate to ensure that our data solutions are complementary and not duplicative.

contributing to technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support and maintenance of our data platform. By going above and beyond implementing new features, we focus on customer experience, building high-quality, secure, and scalable software.

This is a senior technical role focused on the development of our SaaS products suited to a highly focussed, ownership driven Engineer.

Development is a small part of our engineers' responsibilities and you'll be expected to contribute to all areas of our Engineering work including product and feature design, leading and mentoring, and helping us to continually improve.

You'll have focussed professional experience as a data engineer, preferably in Cloud-based SAAS products.

Modern big data architecture design.
Attention to detail and solid written and verbal English communication skills.

Working as part of an enthusiastic, fast paced and motivated agile data engineering team that takes pride in delivering a high-quality data platform.

Design, develop, test, and deploy data pipelines and integrations using IPaaS technology.
Collaborate on engineering platform ingestion, orchestration, data warehouse/data lake and API strategies for our data management ecosystem.

Interface with other technology teams to design and implement robust products, services and capabilities for the data platform making use of infrastructure as code and automation.

Identify and deliver mprovements to data engineering at Enable.
Collaborate with our DevOps team to provide high availability data solutions that scale geographically.
Big data processing - Expertise in processing enterprise-scale volumes of data, ideally with proficiency in Snowflake.

Architecture design - Experience in leading the design and implementation of lambda architectures for scalable and reliable data processing.

Data Stores - Technical excellence inSQL, NoSQL, Blob,Delta Lake, and other enterprise scale data stores.

Data Orchestration - Enterprise scale usage of technology such as Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, Logic Apps, DBT, SnapLogic, Spark or similar tools.

Software Tooling - GIT/GitHub, CI/CD, deployment tools like Octopus, Terraform infrastructure as code and other DevOps practices.
Coding - Experience using Python with data (Pandas, PySpark) would be an advantage. Other languages such as C# would be beneficial but not essential.
