The Super 8 by Wyndham Truro is looking for an individual who is interested in joining our Housekeeping department as a Laundry Attendant.

Responsibilities:

• Wash, clean, dry, and fold numerous hotel linen and laundry items.
• Sort and arrange linens in the laundry room as per the specifications.
• Achieve a controlled and organized environment of laundry area.
• Assist fellow housekeeping attendants in removal and replenishment of linen in attended rooms
• Maintain inventory levels of linen, detergents, and other materials used in laundry department. Keep it updated on a regular basis.
• Provide various other housekeeping services as required.

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 40lbs
• Regularly kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps

Your experience and skills include:

• Prior experience as a laundry attendant or similar position in the hospitality industry an asset
• Must have effective communication skills
• Ability to work for long hours weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Salary:
$13.60-$14.50 per hour
