Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job description

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Verifying company revenue by posting receipts and resolving discrepancies
  • Maintain filing system and statements
  • Prepare accounts receivable reports
  • Provide receipts for credit card payments
  • Prepare bank deposits and deposit cheques
  • Review credit balances, refunds and adjustments
Monitor account details for missing payments and other irregularities

  • Communicate with customers
  • Maintain cilents files and records
  • Create and send overdue invoices

Requirements:


  • Strong math skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using accounting software, such as PeopleSoft, or similar systems
  • Previous experience in a financial services or accounts receivable role is preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or issues
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$36,204.27-$45,000.00 per year
