Description

Reporting to the Head of Energy Markets, you will be part of a team developing energy solutions for large business and institutional customers including electric vehicle charging, battery storage, solar PV and power generation.

Your work will help unlock the full potential of electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, driving the transition to a clean energy economy.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical oversight and management of on energy management software projects
  • Evaluate the effective integration and interoperability of electrification system software.
  • Support development of endtoend project requirements in support of systems integration.
  • Engage in product development, designing and evaluating creative solutions to deliver fitforpurpose systems in line with product vision and business needs. Scope development, process to align software system interactions.
  • Work closely with software providers throughout the requirements definition, discovery, development, implementation, testing, and performance monitoring of software for electrification projects.
  • Execution of project management responsibilities associated with software programs, including diligence around software security requirements.
  • Manage modelling and analysis in support of project development and system feasibility.
  • Coordinate and plan market participation or portfolio assets.
  • Collaborate across the organization and with external stakeholders regarding software system needs.
  • Optimize internal processes to improve efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 7+ years relevant experience.
  • Direct experience in IESO and one other ISO market an asset.
  • Proven experience managing complex programs.
  • Experience with development and operation of one or more of the following: EV charging, behindthemeter assets, distributed energy resources, or energy management systems.
  • Selfinitiated and intellectually curious, with a powerful interest in electrification and innovation.
