As a member of the Business Enablement team, you take pride in organizing business intelligence efforts to support the growth of the organization.

You are the main contact person for business intelligence questions. You are the link between BI developers, BI consultants, BI users, and the BI governance team.


If you enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues from various functions (marketing and sales, customer service, accounting and finance, engineering, quality, procurement, logistics, production, operations, human resources, IT) at all organizational levels to help them solve business problems with business intelligence, this position is waiting for you.


POSITION LEVEL:

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Act as Product Owner of the organization's BI reports
  • Produce lowfidelity dashboard prototypes.
  • Ensure visual and logical uniformity of dashboards.
  • Leverage company data to improve the decisionmaking process.
  • Support the implementation and management of dashboards in collaboration with internal and external BI developers.
  • Track and resolve issues found by users with the ticket system.
  • Verification of the quality of work
  • Sit on the organization's data governance committee.
  • Help your colleagues adapt to changes related to the data valuation effort by providing training and coaching on the proper use of new tools.
  • Create and maintain training material to improve the analytical maturity of the organization with regards to the valuation of data.
  • Help and train analysts to translate business needs into user stories.
  • Harness the power of analytics to provide recommendations to various organizational functions.
  • Map BI architecture data and maintain its data glossary.
  • Coordinate business data quality monitoring activities (visualization, corrective processes, education, training)
  • Act as the company's business intelligence resource person
  • Keep abreast of best practices, tools, and technologies in business intelligence.
Support the implementation of initiatives in the management of personal information in terms of compliance with the law 25.

QUALIFICATIONS

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, business technology management (knowledge and experience in business intelligence, data science and business analysis), or university degree in a relevant field.
  • Master's degree in business intelligence, data science or business analysis is considered a strong asset.
  • 3 years of experience in the field of data.
  • Ability to adapt and be pragmatic in the development process to deliver value within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French, both oral and written.
  • Selfmotivated, autonomous, with strong indirect leadership, project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Quick learner with a mindset for continuous improvement and solution oriented.
  • Experience with CRM and ERP type systems is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Power BI and Tableau visualization tools
  • Good knowledge of SQL, preferably with practical experience to understand and coordinate the work of IT analysts.
  • Good knowledge of best practices in data architecture for business intelligence
