We are seeking Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses
Malton Clinic
Full-Time and Part-Time role
About the Program:
The Malton clinic is located at 7330 Goreway Drive, Mississauga, ON. The hours of operation are from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, open 7 days a week. It is an appointment-based clinic, where clients are referred by HCCSS. Nurses will work either an 8- or 12-hour shift, and biweekly weekend rotation. This is a shift nurse opportunity, and no traveling is required.
About the role:
Nurses will provide services like wound care, IV therapy, medication injections, drain care, stomach care, removal of PICC lines, chemo disconnections, and more. For new clients/referrals, an appointment can be approximately 40-45 minutes, and for returning clients can be around 20 minutes.
Required Qualifications:
Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
Membership of your Professional Association preferred (RNAO/WeRPN).
RN diploma/degree or RPN diploma from a recognized university or college.
Hold a valid First Aid or CPR Certification.
A moderate level of wound care or venipuncture knowledge and experience is an asset.
Knowledge of community nursing is an asset.
Emergency Department (ER) or ICU nurse experience is an asset.
Demonstrate effective communication (written and verbal) and documentation skills.
Demonstrate reliable attendance, punctuality, and availability for the role.
Commitment to modeling lifelong learning and professional growth and can apply critical thinking skills to provide client care.
Successful completion of the Physical Readiness Test (PRT) to ensure safe work practices are followed (transfers, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling).
