*This is an in office position, with common hours of work ranging from 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm*Altea Active's Project Administrator is a highly organized problem-solver with an innate ability to prioritize tasks ensuring the schedule, budget and details of a given task are well organized.

The Project Administrator plays a key role in supporting the project team in the successful delivery of all projects and new club openings.

This position will be responsible for overall project administration duties and helping support the coordination of ongoing club improvement initiatives.

With incredible attention to detail, you are always prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. You are also comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication. Your outstanding organizing skills come in handy to organize reporting, plan meetings and provide updates to project managers.

Your fabulous people skills allow you to actively communicate with various departments to keep everyone on board about any changes to the project plan.

As a Project Administrator, a typical day might include the following:

  • Process all change management documentation in applicable systems, always ensuring accuracy.
  • Log, track and maintain data in the project management software
  • Prepare, issue and track all Purchase Orders related to construction and new club opening.
  • Maintain project documentations such as project plans, meeting minutes, contracts, bid packages, technical and financial close outs, etc.

To land this role you need to have;

  • Postsecondary education, preferably in business administration, or in construction management. A diploma in Architectural technology or engineering technician would be considered an asset
  • Expereince with AutoCad and Bluebeam considered a strong asset
  • 23 Years' Experience working in construction or related field
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills;
  • Strong time management and planning skills, with an emphasis on quality output;
  • Able to effectively communicate with all types of staff, including technical, professional, and upper management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, technology management, and internal controls.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet's and general computer skills are required
  • All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work.
