As a Bilingual Credit Collections, you play a vital role within our team. You will be responsible for overseeing the complete debt recovery process while nurturing crucial customer relationships. Your problem-solving and communication abilities will be instrumental in our financial success.

Your key responsibilities will be the following:

  • Daily review of Accounts Receivable aging reports to identify delinquent invoices requiring immediate follow-up.
  • Weekly review and reporting of collections metrics to track progress against monthly goals.
  • Manage portfolio of delinquent customers in Canada.
  • Arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on customers' financial situation, and trigger repossession process of leased equipment as needed.
  • Process customer refunds, review and process account adjustments.
  • Resolve client discrepancies and short payments.
  • Understand the concept of financial analysis and perform simple credit analysis.
  • Report periodically on collections performance and provide input to planning (recoveries, write offs).
  • Communicate and collaborate with regional personnel to clarify customer issues as needed.
  • Reconciliation of accounts.
To be successful you'll need to have the following skills and abilities:

  • 5 years of full-cycle B2B credit collections experience.
  • Bilingual (French and English) is a requirement.
  • Strong legal understanding and knowledge of collection best practices.
  • Strong persuasive communications skills, verbal and written.
  • Excellent computer skills with intermediate proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot, VLOOPUP, fundamental functions).
