You will accurately and efficiently complete the following functions of the job.
Read and interpret work orders to understand specific requirements.

  • Operate metal cleaning equipment such as grinders, deburrers, and sanders to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal surfaces.
  • Use hand tools to cut, grind, or chip excess metal from metal products.
  • Polish metal products to achieve a mirror finish.
  • Build crates according to customer requirements.
  • Assemble parts, including light boxes, with precision.
  • Operate various machinery including spot welder, shear, friction saw, and panel saw.
  • Accurately report all manufactured quantities for both good and scrap parts for each work order in the ERP System.
  • Communicate any reporting errors to the supervisor promptly.
  • Perform any other jobrelated duties as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and work instructions, including working safely and maintaining a safe work area for all employees.
  • Report any unsafe conditions and personal injuries to the Supervisor/Manager.
Required Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to read and interpret work order part numbers (alpha and numeric).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Must interpret technical drawings within the metal manufacturing industry.
  • Previous experience spot welding
Preferred Education and Experience

  • Completion of high school and or equivalent experience
  • Some previous metal finishing experience
  • Previous experience working with stainless steel is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in operating metal cleaning equipment and hand tools.
