    Now Hiring: Senior Market Access Manager - Ophthalmology

    Location: Markham, Ontario

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the formulation and execution of comprehensive reimbursement strategies, essential pricing, and access initiatives supported by business insights and thorough market analysis for public and private payers in coordination with the Director and market access team. Offer strategic guidance and assistance for pCPA and private payor negotiation strategies.
    • Collaborate closely with commercial cross-functional brand teams to ensure alignment and integration of market access strategies and tactics with sales, marketing, and medical strategies, including cohesive advocacy plans. Secure necessary resources to achieve market access goals.
    • Provide strategic counsel and advice on market access and reimbursement opportunities specific to the brand and competitive landscape to Brand Teams, Life Cycle Management Teams, and Business Development colleagues.
    • Stay abreast of reimbursement trends, HTA agencies, private payers, competitive products, reports, and policies to evaluate potential risks/opportunities for APCA products. Assess and provide strategic recommendations. Contribute to IMC as directed by Head of Market Access and Government Relations.
    • Employ project management tools to outline and monitor market access action plans, delivering regular updates to the relevant teams. Accountable for overseeing the team budget for the specified therapeutic area.
    • Cultivate and maintain partnerships with vendors to optimize collaborations.
    • Assist in analyzing opportunities for business development.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • University degree in science
    • At least 5 years of direct Market Access experience
    • Prior work experience within the Ophthalmology field
    • Comprehensive understanding of the Canadian reimbursement landscape encompassing public and private payers, CADTH, INESSS, pCPA, and PMPRB
    • Proven track record in pricing and negotiations with public and private insurers
    • Solid practical, quantitative, and analytical skills coupled with a thorough grasp of effectively applying pricing & reimbursement / HEOR principles to bolster APCA
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities (both written and verbal), with proficiency in crafting and delivering presentations to professionals at all organizational levels within APCA
    • Demonstrated project management and time management skills
    • Capability to work efficiently in teams (local and global), collaborate, and lead through influence across all organizational hierarchies and geographical regions

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bilingual proficiency in English and French
