Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Driver to join our team. As a Commercial Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring that our products are delivered safely and on time.
Duties:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and cargo trailers to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as pallet jacks or other heavy machinery
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation of goods
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working order
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance as needed
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time of departure, arrival, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with experience in freight transportation with cargo trailers
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance techniques
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers

$70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
