Job Description for Garden Centre Sales Position:

• Welcoming customers
• Answering customers gardening questions
• Advising and directing customers as required
• Organizing plant material
• Unloading deliveries
• Watering plants and plant maintenance on property

Job Description for Yard Crew:

• Assisting with customer carry outs and loading purchases
• Working outdoors maintaining plants and garden centre grounds
• Watering plants and weeding
• Unloading deliveries
• Stocking plant material
• Customer service
• Assist with yard cleanliness and organization

Qualifications:

• Must be able to easily and repeatably lift 50 lbs
• Enthusiastic and outgoing
• Strong work ethic and diligent
• Enjoy working outdoors in all weather
• Ability to adjust in a fast paced environment
• Able to stand, lift, bend and squat for lengths at a time

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 3-6 months

Part-time hours: 25-40 per week


Salary:
$15.50-$25.00 per hour
