The Opening(s)

The Basic Responsibilities

Coordinate purchasing activities to attain optimum quality, delivery, price, and terms objectives.
Participate in cost reduction activities and projects to achieve established savings goals for procured items.
Evaluate all quotes received from vendors
Initiate and issue purchase orders, change notices, and correspondence with vendors as required.
Manage inventory and ensure that adequate supplies are on hand to meet the company's needs
Monitor market trends to stay informed about changes in prices.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as project managers, designers, estimators & fabrication shop manager, as needed.
Adhere to all policies and procedures set by Escape Fire Protection.
Other duties as assigned.

The Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience or specific knowledge of sprinkler systems
Strong timemanagement and multitasking abilities
Superior organizational skills.

The Hours of Work

Full-Time, Permanent
Monday to Friday
8hour shifts
Please note that compensation is dependent on experience._
