_ Location __- Hybrid between home-based in the Lower Mainland and office in Langley, BC_

This is currently an individual contributor position and will likely grow to lead a small team in the near-term future as we continue to scale.

This role touches every part of our customer-centric organization.

In particular, you will work most closely with our Sales and Applications Engineering teams located in the US, Canada, and Europe.


What You Will Do

  • Create value for customers and GMS while building and modeling the company's

  • Deliver outstanding level of service and support to the field Sales team
  • Manage and continually improve the GMS Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Lead monthly sales forecasting activities; serve as the Commercial leader in the Sales, Inventory and Operations (S&OP) process
  • Act as the primary liaison for customers and the field Sales team, directing and facilitating the connections of appropriate stakeholders with solutions and resources
  • Champion customer experience efforts within the entire organization
  • Create and track high quality quotations and proposals
  • Manage the sales order entry process from end to end
  • Responsible for the Commercial Review aspect of the Contract Review Process, provide contract knowledge and support to the field Sales team
  • Review customer contractual terms and conditions for compliance to GMS standard terms, and facilitate a process toward resolution if there are differences in the Terms & Conditions
  • Collaborate with Regulatory, Finance, and Sales on new customer setup, customer and channel contract execution, and payment related matters
  • Create clear metrics and dashboards to measure and drive business and team performance

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in customerfacing sales support or sales operations role
  • Experience in a B2B business environment
  • Experience with ERP systems, including quoting and order management processes
  • Must be available to occasionally work beyond normal office hours (Monday to Friday daytime) as required
- <10% travel


What Will Put You Ahead

  • 5+ years of experience in a customerfacing sales support or sales operations role, ideally in a techbased B2B environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
  • Bachelor's degree in Business
  • Experience with KYC (know your customer), trade compliance, and related processes
  • Experience using PowerBI to create executive level reports and dashboards
  • Experience in companies rapidly transitioning from small to big; selfreliant and able to achieve objectives while simultaneously building scalable structures and processes
  • Strong presentation skills; excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Previous success leading continuous improvement initiatives
  • Strong developmental leadership abilities to coach, develop, and mentor team members
  • Strong customer focus and solution seeking mindsets
