Overview:

Supervise all assigned staff and supervisors in the Event/Creative Services Department and ensure proper adherence to all current departmental procedures and to all current Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations.

Responsibilities:

Supervise all assigned staff and supervisors in the Event/Creative Services Department and ensure proper adherence to all current departmental procedures and to all current Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations
Responsible for the setup, execution/operation, and strike of all special events within the park
Responsible for staff training and development
Assist in obtaining and maintaining all departmental resources and facilities
Delegate, implement and document all new projects as assigned
Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

A postsecondary degree or diploma in technical theatre with major studies in technical direction and/or significant experience in a related technical field
Knowledge of audio, lighting, video, and staging equipment required
Computer literacy is required
Competency with tools and equipment
Driver's Licence (G/G2) with clean abstract is required
Previous management experience is required
Able to wear personal protective equipment deemed necessary to perform this job safely (may include; gloves, mask and/or face shield, nonslip shoes etc)
