- Work with a team of skilled engineers, designers, and project support staff
- Manage a variety of cross-disciplinary teams to ensure the cost-effective, safe, and timely completion of projects while meeting or exceeding client expectations
- Review and approve process plant material balance, process design criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, plant layouts, technical specifications, and technical evaluations
- Prepare capital and operating expenditure assessments
- Liaise with clients on technical matters and present reports, publications, and presentations in a professional manner
- Create and review proposals
- Train and share experience-based insights with younger engineers
- Participate in business development and corporate growth activities

Your Future Role on Our Team
The Mining and Metals Process Department has contributed to projects involving a variety of commodities and supported the development and construction of several Canadian concentrators. Overview of Certifications and Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, or Chemical Engineering. Registered as a professional engineer. More than 7 years of experience in gold, iron, green energy materials (lithium, graphite, etc.) or base metal operations and/or design. General areas of expertise include Metallurgical test work planning/analysis, crushing, grinding, flotation, hydrometallurgy, water treatment, gravity separation, pressure oxidation, heap leaching, CIL/CIP, and electrowinning/refining. Strong track record of successfully completing projects in the mining industry. Available for occasional travel to domestic and international destinations. Enthusiastic and business development/corporate growth mindset. Experience using Microsoft Office and process simulation software. Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written (English and French). Significant asset: Feasibility study and NI experience. Asset: Experience with chemical processing and thermal balances. Asset: Interested in process control and optimization. Asset: Operational and/or consulting experience. Asset: Demonstrated ability to find innovative solutions to complex metallurgical problems.
