We currently have openings seasonal Groundskeepers at our Pinecrest Cemetery location, in Ottawa. There is a possibility of a permanent full-time employment at the end of the season.

Pinecrest Remembrance Services continues its 98-year-old traditional of serving families by expanding further in Ottawa's west end by opening a new funeral home location, celebration center and cemetery office at our ever-expanding Highland Park Cemetery.


Job description:

We pride ourselves in keeping our grounds clean, manicured, and looking their best. This is a seasonal position that starts at the end of April and continues until November. There is a possibility of a permanent full-time employment at the end of the season.

A groundskeeper is responsible for a number or tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Grass cutting
  • Grass trimming
  • Light landscaping
  • General duty

Requirements:


  • Strong work ethic
  • Able to work in a team environment as well as alone
  • Valid driver's license (preferred, but not required)
  • Pesticide Applicator license (preferred, but not required)
Complimentary lunches are provided bi-monthly


Job Type:
Seasonal

Contract length: 8 months


Salary:
$16.50-$21.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
