Purpose of the Position:
The safe operation the chairlift and ropetow at Mt. Sima.


Major Functions:

  • Safely operate all surface and above surface lifts at Mt. Sima for public and staff transport.
  • Be proficient with daily start up and shut down of all Lifts.
  • Be proficient with safe stopping and starting of all Lifts.
  • Load and unload passengers and bikes
  • Responsible for completing all daily lift logs.
  • Be fully trained in all lift evacuation procedures by attending all training sessions as required.
  • Responsible for set up and end of day procedures.
  • Enforce lift policy to staff and guests.
  • Perform proper maintenance to lift area, ramps, maze, and garbage as directed.
  • Other labor and general facility maintenance tasks

Requirements:


  • Must be able to swing chairs, maintain load and unload ramps of all surface and above surface lifts.
  • Able to work well in a team environment.
  • 16 years of age or older
