SAFETY
Our team at the Trouw feed mill takes safety seriously. Training provided on safety policies and procedures to minimize incidence of injury. In addition, we constantly monitor quality and food safety awareness and take corrective action to prevent quality issues.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will assist the Maintenance Lead and support facility operations through daily maintenance.

Maintain, fix and repair equipment. Fabricate new equipment installs.
Ensure sufficient spare parts through maintaining inventory and purchasing.
Schedule downtime with production for preventative maintenance and repairs.
Understand the operation of all machinery.
Basic electrical and boiler maintenance.

PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA

:

To be successful in this position, we count on your 2-3 years maintenance experience and Welding/fabrication experience.

Millwright or welding ticket preferred but not required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and positively in a team environment.
Detailoriented and being a team player is required.
Leadership skills and excellent computer skills. Willingness to be coached and learn processes.

GOOD TO KNOW

Fulltime, Permanent; Overtime as required.

Day Shift with on-call expectations. Willing and available to work on-call basis including stats, weekends, evenings

Physical Requirements

:

Ability to regularly bend and twist, open and close lids, climb ladders and work at heights, and lift 25 kgs.

:

Often exposed to loud sounds, distracting noise levels, and dusty environment.
