About the RoleDLC is looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Operations Supervisor to lead our lawn and garden maintenance operations.
This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in landscaping — specifically in lawn care and garden maintenance or both.
We are seeking a professional who truly understands the field, can lead crews with confidence, and ensure our properties meet the highest standards of quality.
You will play a key role in connecting field operations with office coordination, ensuring schedules run smoothly, crews are supported, and clients are delighted with our services.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Scheduling
Build and manage annual maintenance schedules (lawns, gardens, fertilization)
Dispatch and coordinate daily crew activities
Ensure jobs are completed on time, on budget, and to DLC standards
Coordinate materials, plant deliveries, and administrative flow
Field Leadership & Quality Control
Supervise lawn, garden, and fertilization crews
Monitor production targets and efficiency
Enforce safety procedures and company standards
Train and mentor Crew Chiefs and team members
Client Relations
Serve as the main operational contact between clients and crews
Resolve service or billing concerns promptly
Support contract renewals and identify upselling opportunities
Ensure high client satisfaction and retention
Reporting & Administrative Oversight
Review timesheets and ensure accurate billing
Monitor daily and weekly performance dashboards
Support annual pricing analysis and permit applications
Ensure proper documentation and system use (ASPIRE)
Required Experience & Qualifications
Landscaping Experience is Essential
Minimum 7 years of experience in landscape maintenance (lawns, gardens, fertilization)
Strong hands-on knowledge of lawn care and/or garden maintenance
Solid understanding of plant identification and horticultural techniques
Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or management role
Previous crew leadership experience
Valid driver's license (clean record)
Bilingual (French/English)
