Role Description:


As the incumbent for this role, you will primarily conduct market intelligence research to understand what is happening and what will happen in our marketplace to inform our research agenda and product management strategy.

As part of this opportunity, you will analyze, consolidate, and communicate the important trends, opportunities, and threats related to our market environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop a comprehensive approach on market intelligence for our company
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our focus markets, competitive products, and market forces to influence our research agenda and product strategy
  • Design and implement surveys, and analyze results to determine industry and customer trends
Monitor and compile relevant data from external research such as reports, thought leadership and vendor release information

  • Synthesize numerous and disparate data sources into coherent, relevant, and timely conclusions in a variety of communication methods
  • Be an expert on conducting quantitative and qualitative market research
  • Develop presentations to share insights with executive leadership, product, marketing, and commercial teams
  • Continuously improve our capabilities, build a roadmap and execute against it

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:


  • BA/BS/BEng/BTech, MBA preferred (coursework in business, marketing, research, or analytical areas of study)
  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical skills
  • Experience in product marketing, market/competitive intelligence or market research
  • Experience with market sizing, research methods, and quantitative analysis
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Sales CRM, marketing automation, BI tools, and competitive intelligence tools
  • Positive attitude, collaborative mindset, and ability to reprioritize to accommodate an everchanging landscape
