Marketing Assistant (HIA)
Purpose

As a Marketing Assistant for our Hearts in Action Summer Camps, you will be integral to successful brand development at AdaptAbilities.

The Marketing Assistant will report directly to the Director Development and Communications and will be responsible for promoting our summer camps to schools, medical offices and organizations, and other charities that support people with disabilities.

As a conscientious Marketing Assistant, you will act with integrity, be open to growth, live our purpose, cultivate teamwork, and put forth an extraordinary effort to empower people with diverse abilities and their families to grow, succeed, and belong.

Key Functions

  • Provide administrative and project support to the Fund Development & Marketing team
  • Update spreadsheets and CRM database

Qualifications:


  • Successfully completed at least one year of a Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Communications, English, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fastpaced environment
  • Great phone, computer, public relations, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Previous work in a nonprofit organization is an asset
  • Clear Police Information Check and Intervention Record Check
Working Conditions
This position is a contract (6 weeks) full-time position, from April 24, 2023 to June 2, 2023.

The position is based out of our Head Office and shifts are Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

This position is funded through the Canada Summer Jobs Grant from the Government of Canada, which requires that the employee must be between 15 and 30 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada.

International students are not eligible.


Compensation:


Hourly Rate:
$18.39
