Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager Organization Development and Learning, the OD Consultant is responsible for consulting and collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders to support the goals and objectives in the strategic plan.

Responsibilities will be in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of programs and services that support and build individual, team and organizational capacity.

Support the strategies for optimizing the employee experience, engagement, leadership development, learning, change, teamwork and culture as part of this role that will enable our mission and is aligned with the organization's strategic priorities.


Qualifications:


  • Undergraduate degree in Organization Development, Adult Education, Human Resources or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.
  • Masters' degree in one of these fields would be an asset.
  • Certification in Crucial Learning products, DiSC Everything tool, Myers Briggs Type Indicator, MHS EQi 2.0, and recognized Coaching Certification an asset
  • Advanced level facilitation skills for small and large groups required; experience in the delivering of soft skills training virtually and in classroom setting
  • Minimum five years recent demonstrated successful experience in Organization Effectiveness or related role
  • Knowledge and experience working in a health care interprofessional service model
  • Advanced knowledge of learning and development trends and best practices
  • Organization wide program and project design, delivery and evaluation expertise
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships with leaders at all levels of the organization, staff, physicians and volunteers
  • Expertise in competency based performance systems and talent development strategies
  • Experience with employee onboarding, engagement, development and retention strategies
  • Highly skilled at coaching, facilitating, and presenting to a range of audiences
  • Strong clientcentred and service excellence approach
  • Demonstrates strong selfawareness and selfmanagement competencies aligned with organizational values
  • Ability to deal effectively with competing and shifting priorities
  • Experience with balanced scorecard performance indicators and metrics
  • Experience with technology enabled learning an asset
  • Proven ability to attend work regularly as per the Attendance Support Policy # HA30 and Procedure #HA35
