Shop Labour - Saskatoon, Canada - Production Lighting

Description

Production Lighting is looking to add Shop and Show Labour, and Lighting Technicians to our family in our Production and Rental departments at our Saskatoon and Edmonon offices, effective immediately.

• Report to the General Manager and Shop Manager
• Setting up Shows/Events, preparing rentals, dealing with Customers and potentailly handling Sales
• Communicating and working with clients, budgets and advancing productions
• Designing and executing production shows, rentals and Installs under supervision of the General Manager and Shop Manager
• Generating new clientele

• At least 3 years of experience in the event/production/theatre industry.
• Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle.
• Experience driving 5 tons (24') and 3 tons (20') trucks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• The ability to lead and manage a team.
• The ability to interact with the general public.
• Reliable.
• Flexible schedule.
• Creative Skills in Lighting/Set Design is an asset but not a must.
• Knowledge of Vectorworks or similar CAD program is an asset but not a must.
• Knowledge of Quickbooks Accounting Software is an asset but not a must.
• Knowledge of simple electronics and Electrical wiring is an asset but not a must.
