Business Analyst - Banking


Location:
Toronto, ON (Onsite from day 1)**
Mode : Full Time

Skills Required:


  • Minimum 8 years of experience as Business System Analyst in financial services industry with a preference in consumer credit card management.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational and project management skills.
  • Knowledge and proficiency of deliverables in each phase of SDLC and Product Life cycle.
  • Demonstrate leadership, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Adept in Microsoft office products
  • Excel, PowerPoint, including MS Project.

Roles Responsibilities:


  • BSAs in the credit card portfolio partner with business and technology teams to identify, document and help bring to life new credit card portfolio features.
  • Work with business primes to understand the requirements that are provided as part of Credit Card projects and programs.
  • This includes: asking the business questions to elicit more information, providing recommendations where possible, and partnering with others to fill in any gaps that are caught during the requirement assessment phase.
  • Review, analyze and document those requirements for the technology implementation teams and partners. This includes
  • Defining and documenting use cases, user procedures and workflows
  • Creation of QA plans and supporting QA as applicable
  • Creating in depth documentation to support the analysis, including data mapping, process flows, project charters, requirement documents, high level design artifacts
  • Partner with project managers to create project plans, project updates, timeline estimates and other analysis
  • Work with the production support and operations teams to ensure business continuity is in place
  • Understand and follow the security policies both in processes and technology implementations
  • Partner effectively with others on the technology team and within the organization as a whole to solve problems and deliver solutions.
  • In this partnership, assist in the development of implementation strategies and defining go/no go criteria.
  • Conduct pre and post implementation reviews, ensuring all technical solutions have met business requirements.
  • Supports system implementation and production readiness by liaising with change management, IT architecture and standards, and the business.
  • Provide user documentation, user training, and post implementation support. Collaborate with business leaders, technology leads, and vendors ensuring that management is kept informed of project status and that problems and issues are escalated appropriately and clearly communicated.
  • Generate reporting and dashboards with regards to project status, critical priorities, etc.

Salary:
From $60,000.00 per year
