Northern School Principal and Instructional Leader

We are seeking a passionate educator to lead our school division's efforts in La Loche, Canada.

• Teaching/Consultant/Vice-Principal role at La Loche - Dene High School is available for candidates with the required qualifications.
• Saskatchewan Professional A Teacher's Certificate is mandatory for this position
• Significant teaching and administrative experience in Northern issues is an asset but not a requirement

Duties:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the school division's instructional programs and ensuring that all students receive a high-quality education. The principal will also be involved in decision-making processes, budgeting, and staff supervision.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills and have excellent communication abilities. They should also have knowledge of curriculum development, instructional design, and assessment strategies.
The Saskatchewan Professional A Teacher's Certificate is compulsory; however teachers who hold other Canadian Provincial Teaching Certificates may apply if they meet Saskatchewan’s requirements or are currently enrolled in their fourth year of teacher training program (with Confirmation from University/School Administrator),
significant teaching experience preferably within remote communities would be considered beneficial.
