    Today is the day to boost your career Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Occupational Health and Safety team in either our Regina or Saskatoon office.

    Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Technologist will provide occupational hygiene, health and safety consulting services to our valued clients.

    A Day in the life of a Project Technologist at Pinchin:

  • Conduct worker exposure monitoring in support of occupational hygiene assessments at a large variety of different work sites throughout the Province
  • Perform on-site assessments, inspections and testing related to hazardous materials, indoor air quality parameters, mould, asbestos, lead, mercury, PCBs, ODSs
  • Prepare technical reports
  • Conduct effective safety inspections and audits
  • Assist with developing various types of health and safety documentation, such as exposure control plans, health and safety programs, policies and safe work/operating procedures (i.e. confined space, fall protection, respiratory protection etc.)
  • Liaise with clients to ensure needs, goals and objectives are addressed and met
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships
  • What you bring to the Pinchin team:

  • Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor Degree in the Occupational Health Safety or Hygiene (or related) field
  • Six months to two years of experience
  • Working knowledge (i.e. interpretation) of relevant health and safety legislation
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client interfacing and customer services skills
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and execute detailed instructions
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
  • Familiarity/comfort with manufacturing and construction processes, fire and flood restoration, building operations, and architectural drawings considered an asset
