Job summary
The Floor Supervisor oversees daily classroom operations ensuring a safe nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment.This role supports and guides staff maintains compliance with licensing standards and ensures smooth day to day functioning on the floor.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support teaching staff across classrooms
- Ensure child safety and proper staff-to-child ratios
- Assist with curriculum implementation and classroom quality
- Communicate with staff and families as needed
- Maintain compliance with health safety and licensing standards in all areas of the program including but not limited to first aid CPR medication administration food preparation sanitation cleaning etc.
