Impact Childcare Centre is a brand-new, four classroom facility offering dedicated childcare programs for Toddler and Preschool aged children.

We offer Christian based care by providing an environment rich in purpose and experience so as to inspire, motivate and empower children to reach their full learning potential.

We are committed to nurturing strong, healthy children and are looking for RECE Teachers to join our team and help facilitate this vision.

Impact Childcare Centre is located in and affiliated with Christian Centre Church.

The RECE shall be in agreement with the Church's Statement of Faith and have the spiritual maturity to teach and guide children in accordance with the Bible.

ECE's will be under the leadership of the Centre's Supervisor and Director and will be responsible for:
As an RECE at Impact Childcare your responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing a wholesome program for Toddlers and/or Preschool aged children that supports the development and enrichment of children.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the wellbeing of children by adhering to all policies provided by the Ministry of Education (CCEYA) and Impact Childcare.
• Teach & instruct children in each area of the classroom giving them opportunities for independent and group play through: Dramatic Play, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, Fine Motor, Arts and Music and Science Programs.
• Assessing the abilities, interests, and needs of children and discussing progress with parents and other staff. Identify, select, and modify work in the room to meet the needs of children with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with coworkers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials in line with Toronto Public Health standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

At Impact Childcare our ECE's will:

• Be a Registered ECE
• Early Childhood Education Diploma mandatory.
• Be registered and a member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
• Be energetic & a selfstarter who can set up and manage a classroom
• Be engaged with children and have a desire to see each child thrive
• Have a valid standard first aid and CPR certification prior to the first day of work.
• Have a clean criminal check.
• Have uptodate immunization record (plus 2 step TB test).
• Have welldeveloped interpersonal, and relationshipbuilding skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with members, staff and volunteers.
• Have experience teaching Bible lessons and/or a willingness to teach Bible curriculum.
