The CHEO Research Institute, through its affiliation with the University of Ottawa, coordinates the research activities of CHEO to realize its vision of _discoveries to inspire the best life for every child and youth_.

As a major health services and patient-centered care research organization, the CHEO Research

Institute is dedicated to finding solutions to mental health problems and the development of promising practices to improve clinical care of children and adolescents with mental health conditions.

The Research Chair will play a pivotal role in building capacity for research in clinical psychiatry or mental health services within the CPA, the CHEO Research Institute and the Faculty of Medicine.

Term:5-year term position, renewable

Skills requirements:

Education: Full-time MD, PhD or MD/PhD researcher appointed or recruited to the Faculty of

Medicine at the University of Ottawa.

Work experience:Excellent research training and evidence for potential to succeed in child and adolescent clinical psychiatry, psychology, or mental health services research. A history of interdisciplinary collaboration, resourcefulness, and excellent communication skills.

Language requirements: Position is in either English or French. English-French bilingualism is an asset.

Le ou la président(e) de la recherche assumera un rôle essentiel en renforçant la capacité de recherche en psychiatrie clinique ou des services en santé mentale par les APC, l'IR de CHEO et la faculté de médecine.
