The Jessie Home Inc.Evenning Supervisor reports to the Program Manager and is responsible for managing the day to day tasks for the overall functioning of the program.
This position assists with communication flow internally and externally and ensures the smooth operation of the Jessie Home Inc. administrative activities and function for that program.- Key Areas of Responsibility_
ADMINISTRATIVE
- Direct supervision of program staff
- Prepare scheduling for full, part time and casual program staff
- Identify and assist with professional development opportunities for staff
- Facilitate resident specific (i.e. intake, discharge, IPP) meetings with social workers and others as required
- Oversee program staff for adherence to and compliance with Jessie Home Inc. policies and procedures as well as provincial licensing guidelines
- Contact with government and agency personnel regarding various administrative issues specific to the program
- Participate in meetings as required for increased communication between staff and program expectations
- Direct reporting to the Program Manager on all administrative matters
- Maintain all records and documents for the program and ensure that all information is current and that it is shared with the Executive Director as applicable
- Keep paperwork and digital records organized and filed
- Ensure new staff receive orientation according to the Child and Family Services Standards regulations.
- Works with the Program Manager to identify and meet training needs
- Schedule Independent Treatment Plan meetings for all youth within the first 30 days of placement and quarterly thereafter
- On call roatation for issues with staff, program or clients unless otherwise arranged
- Submit youth attendance statistics to head office
- Ensure the physical upkeep of the facility, house, furnishings, yard and
- Responsible for maintenance/upkeep of program vehicles
- Report issues related to property, vehicles, or other assets such as furniture/appliances to the Executive Director
- Be able to life 50lbs
Minimum 3 years experience in a management role or combined education/experience in a leadership role in youth care:
Current up to date Criminal Record Check/Child Abuse Registry (within past 3 months):
Valid First Aid/CPR:

Salary:
$19.35-$22.00 per hour
