Job Description:


We're looking for a highly seasoned professional who thrives in helping clients achieve their wealth goals and dreams for the position of
PIC Portfolio Manager.

In this highly complex, and rewarding position, you will provide a range of advice and investment solutions to affluent and high-net-worth clients by building and managing a substantial book of client relationships on a discretionary basis.

On a typical day at work, you are expected to:

  • Deliver an exceptional client experience by providing expert mentorship in developing investment strategies and helping them achieve their overall wealth management goals
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow a committed client base (including client loyalty and referrals) and business profitability
  • Participate in crossfunctional activities while ensuring integration with other wealth partners
  • Keep clients wellinformed with an appropriate combination of inperson meetings, phone and electronic communication and regular quarterly contact or more
  • Act as a technical expert to lead or advise others and manage end to end functional programs independently; raise and / or resolve issues as appropriate
  • Keep current on emerging trends and grow indepth knowledge of the business, Bank, products, services and industry
  • Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment and maintain a culture of risk management and control

Requirements:


  • Undergraduate degree and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
  • Seven (7) or more years of discretionary money management experience
  • Registered with the appropriate provincial Securities Commissions as an Advising Representative (AR)
  • Dynamic influential skills to influence and gain alignment across increasingly senior shareholders while exercising discretion in confidential matters
  • Strong communication skills to manage the team, build relationships and work collaboratively as well as independently
  • An intellectual mind with positive attitude who can deliver projects and initiatives by prioritizing and multitasking in a demanding environment
