Duties:


  • Assemble and install structures and fixtures, interior doors, baseboards, flooring, drywall, rough framing, doors, windows.
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, and other materials
  • Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs
  • Follow blueprints and building plans to meet client specifications
  • Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, molding, trim, and hardware
  • Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
  • Use hand and power tools to shape, smooth, and finish surfaces
  • Plumb and level structures using levels, plumb bobs, and laser equipment
  • Caulk joints and seams to ensure airtight and watertight seals
  • Verify trueness of structure with carpenter's level's and tricks of the trade

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools safely
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
  • Excellent mathematical skills for measuring materials
  • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks
  • Detailoriented with good problemsolving abilities
  • Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
