Springbank Dental, located in the heart of downtown Woodstock, is seeking to expand our team of dental professionals by adding a
Full Time Dental Receptionist/Certified Level II Dental Assistant to our family oriented practice.
Employment Details:
Hours per week
- Above average compensation based on experience
- One evening per week required
- One occasional half day Saturday required (12 per year)
- Monday-Friday
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understands and adheres to Quality Assurance Control, Infection Control, WHIMIS, IPAC, and all other protocols set out by the RCDSO and Public Health
- Able to understand and execute recall frequencies and booking appointments to fill the schedule
- A strong understanding of Dental Insurance guidelines and EDI submissions
- Developing strong patient relationships and providing excellent customer service
- Sterilization of equipment & proper room turn over
- Clinical chairside assisting with sound knowledge of instrumentation & general dental procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience either chairside or reception
- Diploma in Level II Dental Assisting preferred
- HARP Certified
- IPAC Certified
- Experience with Abeldent an asset but not required
- Detailed understanding of practice health and safety requirements
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable with multitasking, strong communication skills would be an asset.
